Personal Encounters with Grace

A Miracle of Healing and Love

By Chitra A, India

I would love to share a beautiful and touching Mai-Tri Method experience that recently reaffirmed the silent, powerful way Mohanji works through those connected to him, even without being physically present.

The annual festival at Mohanji’s family temple, the Pathirissery Dharmasastha Temple, commenced on May 18th. Initially, I planned to stay at Mannarkkad and had blocked a hotel room. However, after two fellow devotees expressed their wish to attend the satsang and return the same day, I changed my plans, decided to stay at Thrissur, and arranged for a cab. Looking back, I now see how every shift in our plans is perfectly orchestrated by grace.

While in Thrissur, I stayed at the house of Smt. Rema Ravi, who runs a catering unit from her home. Beyond her regular orders, Remaji also kind-heartedly provides daily meals to the cancer ward at the Thrissur Medical Centre, supported by a few generous souls. When I arrived, her staff was busily preparing the food.

During a casual conversation, Remaji mentioned that the 85-year-old mother-in-law of one of her workers had recently suffered a severe fall. A medical check-up revealed a pelvic fracture. Due to her advanced age, the doctors explained that surgical correction was highly difficult. The elderly mother was completely bedridden and in excruciating pain, crying out whenever she had to move even slightly. It was a heartbreaking situation for the entire family. Remaji asked if I could offer a Mai-Tri session for her.

Now, I usually do not visit people’s homes for sessions. But in that exact moment, I felt a strong, undeniable inner pull to go and see this mother. Guided by that profound calling, I walked over to their house along with some of the ladies while Remaji left for the Medical Centre. On the way, they told me that the mother had become entirely unresponsive and had not eaten or drunk anything for the past three days.

When I reached her bedside and saw her fragile condition, I gently asked her if she would like some water. Her family members immediately intervened, saying, “She won’t take it. For the last three days, she has been tightly pressing her lips together whenever we try to offer her anything.” I just smiled, internally anchoring my connection with Mohanji, and asked the mother once again.

What happened next left the entire family in absolute shock. The mother immediately turned toward me, opened her eyes, and said, “Yes, I am thirsty. I would like to have some.” She then reached out, grabbed the water bottle lying on the bed, and drank from it right there!

The family watched in complete awe and disbelief. In that beautiful, still moment, I understood exactly why Mohanji’s consciousness had pulled me to that house. Having completed the true purpose of my visit, I quietly returned.

Later on, I performed distant Mai-Tri for her over the next two days. By the third day, Remaji’s staff member shared the incredible news: her mother-in-law was completely back to normal. She was walking to the kitchen to have her food, using the washroom on her own, and taking care of herself entirely—with absolutely no pain.

Thank you, dear Mohanji, for using me as your instrument and giving me this unforgettable, firsthand experience of your omnipresence and boundless love.

Burden to Blessing

By Jyotsna Kanshi

I would like to share my experience of Mai-Tri and the grace of Mohanji. For the past 2–3 years, I had been experiencing an unusual sensation at the centre of my spine. It felt as though a heavy stone had been placed there, causing discomfort at times. I couldn’t understand the reason behind it, and the thought of whether something serious was wrong with my spine would often trouble me. Despite this concern, I hesitated to consult a doctor.

When I first met Devi Amma in Bangalore, I shared this experience with her. She gently guided me to visualise a bright white light as I breathed in, assuring me that the issue would gradually resolve. I followed her guidance sincerely for some time.

Then a few days ago, I connected with Preeti Duggal and requested a Mai-Tri session, primarily seeking clarity regarding my Kailash yatra this year. After the session, she shared a deep insight—that there was a past-life blockage affecting my ability to express myself fully. She lovingly guided me to practice the Power of Purity meditation for 41 days and suggested writing down suppressed emotions daily and burning the paper for 21 days to release what I had been holding on to since childhood.

As I began following these practices, something profound began to shift within me. Around the same time, I also participated in a Mai-Tri Intensive program as a practitioner and began receiving Mai-Tri regularly from fellow practitioners. Within just about 10 days, I experienced something truly remarkable—the long-standing blockage at my spine completely dissolved. The heaviness vanished, and along with it, the discomfort. This transformation felt nothing short of magical!

I truly believe this healing is a result of Mohanji’s grace and divine blessings. His presence is so powerful, subtle, and compassionate that it works beyond our understanding. Mohanji is always with us, guiding, protecting, and taking care of each one of us in ways we may not even perceive. He never leaves the hands of his devotees and disciples. This experience has strengthened my faith that when we surrender and stay connected, his divine power takes care of everything effortlessly.

With deep gratitude, I bow to Mohanji for this beautiful healing and inner transformation.
